The 4th RIMS Fundraising Run exceeds all expectations

On September 9, 2011, 264 students and Casa kids, the school administration, teachers, staff and parents took off in the Spiesswald wearing uniform RIMS T-shirts. Cheered on by their families, friends and sponsors, they ran a good hour and a half and finished 2047 laps, which equals the distance from Frankfurt to Moscow as the crow flies. The average amount of laps ran was 7. The most eager runner did an unbelievable 17 laps!

Thanks to this fantastic sporting achievement and the financial support of numerous sponsors, we were able to announce a result of 19,328 Euros. This year's run will benefit the class rooms, our assembly hall and the kitchen. The 1st RIMS Run in 2008 raised 22.260 Euros and funded the RIMS science lab. In 2009, the motto of the Run was "RIMS Book Run" and it raised 18.955 Euros. Last year, 16.295 Euros were raised for the realization of a new arts room which will be inaugurated in December 2011.
